BRITISH & COMMONWEALTH
The fighting in Holland, from the advance of XXX Corps during Operation Market Garden, and landing of 1st Airborne at Arnhem, to the occupation of the Island, the positions along the Maas and the breakout towards Germany in 1945 cost Britain and the Commonwealth dearly during final phase of WW2. This part of the website will have details of the British and Commonwealth War Cemeteries in Holland, now maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
